After a storm, what you can see from the ground doesn't always tell the whole story. Shingle pieces in the yard, dented gutters or a neighbor getting a new roof are all good reasons to have it checked, but so is a storm that left no obvious marks at all.

On the roof we look for hail hits on the shingles, metal or tile, shingles that wind has creased, lifted or torn off, and flashing or pipe boots the storm has bent or pulled loose. We cover every slope and the edges, because wind and hail rarely hit a roof evenly.

When we're done, you'll know whether the storm damaged the roof, where, and how much. Damage confined to a few areas is usually a repair. Damage across most of the roof means replacement is worth considering. If we don't find storm damage, we'll tell you that too.
