A roof emergency is water coming in now, or a roof left open to the next rain, like a section of shingles torn off or a branch through the roof deck. The first job is to stop more water getting in, usually by tarping or sealing the opening.

That's a temporary fix, and we treat it as one. Once the roof is covered, we look at the damage properly and work out the permanent repair, or whether the roof needs more than a repair.
