All roof types
We also work on slate, composite (Spanish tile or slate), and cedar shake roofs.
01 · Roof type
Clay and concrete tile is one of the heaviest, longest-lived roofs you can put on a Texas home — you'll see it on Hill Country builds, custom homes, and Mediterranean-style houses across Central and South Texas. It shrugs off UV and heat better than almost anything, but cracked tiles, slipped courses, and failed underlayment are where leaks start. We repair individual tiles and re-lay sections, and re-roof when the underlayment's done — always after an onsite assessment, never on a guess.
02 · Roof type
Asphalt shingle is the Texas default — the most common roof on suburban homes from Houston to DFW, and the one most likely to take hail and wind damage. It's cost-effective and fast to install, but Texas sun ages it and a single storm can lift, crack, or strip shingles in a hurry. We patch isolated wind and hail damage, replace failed sections, and tear off and re-roof when the field's past saving — with the storm-and-insurance side handled as part of the job.
03 · Roof type
Terracotta barrel tile is the signature of Spanish-style and older Texas homes — you'll find it across San Antonio, South Texas, and historic neighborhoods statewide. The fired clay lasts for decades and holds its color, but the tiles are brittle, and matching profile and color on a repair takes a roofer who knows the material. We source the right barrel tile, repair cracked and slipped courses, and re-roof full slopes when the underlayment fails — assessed onsite before we scope a thing.
04 · Roof type
Standing-seam and metal roofing is built for exactly what Texas throws at a roof — hail, high wind, and relentless heat. It's increasingly common on new builds, barndominiums, and homeowners replacing a hail-battered shingle roof for good. Done right it's one of the most durable systems out there, but seams, fasteners, and flashing are where problems hide. We repair panels, re-seal seams and penetrations, and install full standing-seam systems — every job starts with an onsite assessment.
Insurance claim assistance
Do you handle my insurance claim for me?
No — the claim is yours to file. We handle the roof side: onsite assessment, scope, supplier coordination, and timing — lined up with what your policy covers. We don't represent you to your insurance company; that's not our lane.
